Ousmane Dembele has cited one of the key reasons why he chose to leave Barcelona and join Paris Saint-Germain.
The France international opted to start a new chapter in his home country after Paris Saint-Germain made it clear they were interested in signing him in July, despite Barcelona trying to convince him to stay in La Liga.
The 26-year-old winger signed a five-year contract with the Parc des Princes after PSG activated his €50 million release clause.
Dembele released a positive thank-you letter after leaving Catalonia, but admitted that the prospect of PSG’s future plans convinced him to move on.
